Images are effective only when they are relevant to the content. If you cannot find a suitable picture, it is better not to use them at all. Sometimes, images can ruin the flow of the content. For example, if you are vividly explaining someone a concept of a dream home using an exquisite combination of words, do not make the mistake of inserting an image on the slide, unless you want to lose the audience. You want people to use their imagination and create a visual to go along with it – inserting a picture robs their creative power from them.

Keep An Eye On The Legalities:
We’re so involved in the creative aspect of a presentation that legal issues like copyright laws are hardly ever considered. Before using an image, check its copyright status and make sure that you have the permission to use it.
